Sweet Clover
Melilotus officinalis
Sweet Clover is a somewhat unusual ingredient in skincare products, it is more commonly known as a hay crop or cover crop. However, there is a ton of emerging research on its amazing benefits for skin! It is known as sweet clover because it gives off a sweet scent as it dries.
Sweet Clover grows wild on our farm. It is very drought tolerant, is a great soil-improver, and pollinators love it!
